As we turn the page to welcome the 2021 new year, we will continue to evolve as a small business by modernizing and adapting our products, equipment and services to meet the highest demands of concrete surface prep and floor coating industries. Over the years we took notice that each student brings a unique set of skills based on the personal experiences within their individual professional journeys.
We understand that life is unpredictable and everyone’s schedule will circumstantially vary. Essentially, we want to be able to provide our trainees with flexible options and the power of choice, so we made a few slight adjustments to our training programs to better accommodate you, your specific schedule, and your precise level of industry expertise.
Choosing The Right Training Program For You
We decided to implement new arrangements to our training courses so you now have the option to choose between attending either a 3-day training program or a 5-day training program for both certifications in polished concrete applications and/or epoxy coating systems! This way you have full control over planning, changing, and managing your work and personal schedules to best fit our training schedule accordingly.
Our professional team of industry experts created this incentive to attract ALL levels of expertise who have an interest in polished concrete and epoxy coatings applications. Whether you’re brand new to this trade, have limited experience, or are seasoned field experts, these training programs are guaranteed to provide expert insight to everyone at any degree of field experience.
Training Programs; 3-Day vs. 5-Day
Prior to the new year, we took the time to arrange an annual schedule for both programs, designating each 3-day and 5-day course to a specific month. We only implemented occasional rotations between the programs, in which the primary course of interest is our 5-day program. That means there are fewer 3-day classes scheduled throughout this year for both polished concrete and epoxy coatings, so if you’re interested in attending a 3-day class over 5-day, we highly suggest signing up sooner rather than later because availability will be very limited.
What is the Purpose for 3-Day and 5-Day Training Programs?
The 3-day program is simply just a condensed version of our 5-day program and was facilitated for the sheer purpose of being able to provide a crash course version with rapid lessons and prompt insight on installing polished concrete floor applications and epoxy coating systems. We created this 3-day program as a sampling course for the individuals and experts who already have experience in the industry and have previously worked in the field so they may not need as much time spent on classroom specifics, or those who just need a little help refreshing their own knowledge and industry experience.

The Learning Curriculum
In both polished concrete and epoxy coatings courses, you will learn product selection, while using the tools, equipment, and materials HANDS-ON to properly execute a concrete floor application from start to finish. By the end of the class, you’re presented with a personalized certification for keepsakes which you can utilize for future endeavors. As a bonus, our industry experts will continue providing you with the support, guidance, machinery, and products that will encourage your success as an individual and/or business. - Polished Concrete University – During this course, all aspects of concrete polishing are covered; from testing and repairing concrete slabs, to performing floor maintenance, preparation of the surface, as well as the complete installation of polished concrete flooring. This course is hands-on, with minimal time spent in the classroom and you will be operating machinery and tooling. To offer a little something extra to your clients down the road, you will also learn how to apply a floor stencil to a concrete surface using applicator tools and architectural products, like concrete dyes/ stains. - Epoxy Training Center – During this course, all aspects of decorative floor coatings will be covered; from testing and repairing concrete slabs, to performing floor maintenance, preparation of the surface, as well as cove base fabrications, and the full installation of different floor coating systems including vinyl flakes/chips, quartz, metallic, polyaspartic topcoats and glitter coatings. Whether you’re new to installing surface coatings or experience is limited, this training course is essential for becoming certified in epoxy coatings, epoxy countertops and decorative flooring installations.
